Firefighter Suit – X-LINE – Firetech Hero K

The Firetech Hero K Firefighter Suit is designed to protect firefighting personnel against the adverse effects of water, flames and high temperatures encountered during firefighting operations.

The suit has an EU Type Examination Certificate in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and carries the CE marking.

It is manufactured in accordance with EN 469:2020 SOLAS (MED) – “Protective clothing for firefighters – Performance requirements for protective clothing used in firefighting.”

It also complies with EN 1149-5:2018 – “Protective clothing – Electrostatic properties.”

The firefighter suit consists of a jacket and trousers and is specially designed for firefighters and workers exposed to heat and flames. It provides a combination of safety, protection and comfort.

Class 2

• Reflective bands: 50 mm yellow/silver/yellow aramid-backed flame-retardant retroreflective strips
• Outer layer: 75% Meta-Aramid, 23% Para-Aramid, 2% antistatic fibre
• Moisture barrier: 100% aramid non-woven fabric with PU membrane (160 gsm)
• Thermal barrier: 100% Aramid non-woven fabric (150 gsm)
• Inner layer: Aramid-Viscose FR (115 gsm)

Layer System & Construction

The jacket and trousers are designed to fully comply with applicable European standards.

• Quilted inner lining provides comfort during work.
• The outer layer is made of a high-strength, antistatic fabric with water- and oil-repellent properties.
• The ripstop weave provides the outer layer with a stylish and durable appearance.
• The cuffs feature a Meta-Aramid knitted wrist band.
• The sleeve cuffs and neck area are adjustable with non-flammable hook-and-loop fasteners.
• An additional panel under the armpits increases freedom of movement.
• A non-flammable hook-and-loop fastening area on the right chest is provided for a name label.
• All sewing threads used in the firefighter suit are 100% Aramid.
• Double reflective bands are positioned on the jacket sleeves and body.
• Zippers are metal, flame-resistant and high quality.
• A hook-and-loop fastening flap made from the outer-layer fabric covers the zipper.

Design

• Flap pockets are located on both sides of the jacket hem.
• A radio pocket and a hook for a flashlight are positioned on the left chest.
• Metal hooks for hanging gloves are provided on the left pocket.
• The trousers feature elastic suspenders designed for comfortable use without restricting personnel.
• The trousers have an ergonomic design and are adjustable with hook-and-loop fasteners, elastic sections and straps.
• Certification information is provided on the label inside the garment.
• A user manual in four languages is supplied with the garment.
• All firefighter suits are delivered in a red carrying bag.
